This reminds me of a close cousin who used to prance around NYC with body glitter (and body paint) and would hug the universe and everyone in it. You may not have wanted the glitter but it wasn’t worth the risk of offending her. And in the end, a little sparkle never hurt anyone (though it is a bitch to remove).

I saw a thing on the news the other day where new kindergarden kids were being taught about germs and washing their hands. they put glitter on one kid’s hand and had everyone start shaking hands.
